Don’t worry about safety and water quality, the beach of Ičići has received the Blue Flag eco-label issued by the Foundation for Environmental Education. By the way, the beach is located halfways on the region’s most beautiful 12-kilometres sea-promenade “Lungo Mare”.
A little note for free-climbers: In the vicinity of the beach there is a rock called “Devil’s Rock”. It offers several levels of difficulty from 5a to 7b.
is the natural border between Istria and Kvarner Gulf. It hosts a protected nature park at 1400 meters and and offers a great escape from the summer heat with plenty of activities. You can easily reach the mountain trails by car, bike or foot from your apartment.
A little note for free-climbers: Canyon of “Vela Draga” which is part of protected “Učka Nature Park” offers 62 climbing routes and represents one of the most attractive climbing areas in Croatia. Climbers visit this area all year long.
